These are the Release Notes for Early Enrollment v12. This build was deployed to the Live Servers on Thursday, May 25, and has been running on the Test Servers since Tuesday, May 23.
This release greatly enhances the ability for settlements to have meaningful control over their own territory, including the ability to decide how much access other players have to their buildings and what the overall security level is for hexes under their control. It also makes it easier for players to decide just how much PvP they opt-in for, with players unable to be attacked by other players until they either join companies that get feuded or enter hexes that allow more PvP.
There are also several other significant changes, including changes to the Azlanti Stones (renamed to Aeon Stones, they are now a rare drop from all escalation events, and the recipes for combining them into more powerful stones now drop as well), two new T3 escalation variants (Elite Dark Elves and Elite Duergar Slavers), and improvements to the AI for NPC mobs (including spreading their initial attack out to anyone nearby instead of just party members, sharing agro with their teammates, a higher likelihood to retarget when their current target stays out of range, and the ability to do AoE attacks without hurting their teammates).
Update: Sale extended to June 13! As part of the process of moving Pathfinder Online from Goblinworks to Paizo, we made some changes to our billing system at noon (Pacific) on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. Unfortunately, this required removing payment information and deactivating automatic billing settings on every account. As a token of our appreciation for a little favor we haven't actually asked you about yet, we're offering 10% off on all game time purchases from now until noon (Pacific) on June 13, 2017! The discount applies to every purchase of game time through the store or through an automatically rebilled subscription payment, as long as the purchase gets processed during the sale. The discount also gets applied to the already reduced prices for annual and biannual game time purchases, making those options an even better deal than before. Once the sale's over, all prices for the store and for automatic rebilling will return to the standard prices. There is a little catch to this, and that's where the favor mentioned above comes in. As part of our transition to Paizo, we have to move all our billing over to a different account, which we'll be doing on Tuesday, April 18 at noon (Pacific). Unfortunately, that means we need to ask all of you to re-enter your payment information after the switch is made. These are the Release Notes for Early Enrollment v11.6. This build was deployed to the Live Servers on Friday, February 24, and has been running on the Test Servers since Monday, February 13.
This release adds Siege Engines and Siege Camps, which can be placed like Holdings and Outposts in the hexes surrounding a settlement in order to damage the settlement and ultimately take it over. The recipes to craft the Siege Engines and Camps are available as loot drops, and they’re available in both Tier 2 (Professional’s) and Tier 3 (Master’s) versions. The complete rules for sieging a settlement will be posted shortly, with all the rules and damage calculations handled by GM's. Once those rules are finalized, we'll provide at least 2 weeks of warning before they go into effect. Meanwhile, this update will allow everyone to begin collecting the required recipes and crafting siege equipment in preparation.
