Guards are not working properly, respawn time is broken.

Brighthaven Leader
Last night we attacked KB,

This was mainly in response to KB trying to take towers, so we went to attack them, decided to attack their guards and see if we could clear out a safer spot for 5-10 minutes of fighting. We cleared out around 10-12 guards, and then realized they weren't respawning (the Tavern guards respawned though, and some of the crafting guards did too, so we were a bit confused), so we left.

Guards are not respawning like they should, and it seemed semi-random which ones were/weren't.

Have you tested the faction issue, Cheatle? If I remember correctly I heard that because you have attacked them those guards should now attack you on sight regardless of rep or feud. Is that correct? Is it working like that?

Its on per guard basis. The ones that respawned auto attacked at those that took part in killing it.

So, yes it works, but only on guards that respawn. If you attack one guard, no other guard in the settlement cares after you kill him/her.

Also, I think that Guards should have increased range for their aggro, and that the way guards are placed now, they should rearrange them, add a couple more in some key spots.

Similar as to what's being discussed over here.

Which is not how it worked "back in the day" when the TG had pet town wolves. When a wolf went for you so did all the TG.

That said, killing all the TG just to go shopping at KB is maybe a bit of overkill smile

Well, they did place a KoS order on all of us if seen in the Kreuz area. How else are we supposed to go shopping?!? smile

Maybe a 1/4 of their Thornguards were killed, if that.
