Fort Ouroboros

Riff
Fort Ouroboros is a gathering and refining hub and freeport in the South West.

We are a Chaotic Neutral settlement and hence do not "claim" any territory per se but do reserve the right to remove any foreign structures in our locality that are in the way or a nuisance. In other words make arrangements with us or put stuff down here at your own risk. We may ignore it, we may knock it down.

Fort had been in hiatus for some time as the previous owner Palamar was (and still is) unable to play for personal reasons, but ownership has now passed to Riff who has revitalised the settlement with the help of three independent settlements that provided the needed buildings to complete the layout. Fort now offers all refining, a library, limited crafting (engineer and leather-worker for harvest kits and mules), an Auction House for selling gathered and refined goods, freeholder, rogue, wizard and fighter training and a temple of Gorum (Glory to Gorum).

Fort gives mid level training and support (currently 15 but that may change without notice, minimum 13) and does not place restrictions on or take responsibility for the actions of individual members although we reserve the right at any time to evict companies or individuals that are annoying, deliberately causing trouble for the settlement, or a burden without need for explanation (this is not a lawful settlement).

Fort remains an independent settlement committed to the ideal of individual independent trading settlements but temporarily is under the stewardship of a number of other free settlements, in particular Keepers Pass, until we finish rebuilding and consolidating. We wish to emphasise that whilst we have the full backing and support of Keepers Pass and others in our rebuilding project we are not owned by any group and have no miltary/political ties other than free trade agreements with anyone else in Golarion.

Any independent self sufficient individuals or companies wanting to make a home in a frontier freeport in the far South West that places no expectations on members is welcome to apply.

I approve of this new activity on the frontiers.

Thanks for the support.

    Just re-iterating.
  1. Fort is Chaotic and claims nothing.
  2. Gathering is open as far as we are concerned.
  3. Escalations are first in first served, if two groups are after the same escalation down this way fight it out amongst yourselves we do not want to know about it.
  4. We do not claim hexes but holding in our vicinity without arrangements are at your own risk. We may knock them down or hire allies or knock them down at any time.

You are a Troll
When you say *We* do you mean Clueless or Clueless + Keeper's Pass?

Keeper's Pass has arrangements with Fort Ouroboroa to have holdings in the area. Any matters dealing with Fort Ouroborus would be through Clueless.
Keeper's Pass (NG) - Respecting life, protecting freedom, united against tyranny. We are a Crafting Settlement with friendly people and welcome many play styles including casual and Role playing. Keepers only interest beyond gathering and a place to put up a few holdings is keeping Fort an independent settlement. Keepers has always been in favour of a healthy mix of small independent settlements and larger alliances. Aside from anything else, it would be crazy for us to try and expand into a settlement on the opposite end of the map 30 minutes run away anyway.

Looking around the map you see many of the larger alliances consist of collections of multiple half empty settlements being held for "when the players come" with all the active players centred in the one settlement - Ozems and Hammerfall are examples of this. On the other hand many of the independent settlements such as PFU, Keepers, Carpe are still active. A couple of independents like Phaeros and Fort have struggled but all in all there are far more "dead" allied settlements than independent settlements.

Isn't Emerald Lodge also an independent, or did they die out?

I was wondering that myself.

Emerald Lodge is still going. Flitwyck is running things in Thod's absence. He was chatting in general in game just a few hours ago.
