Updated the original post: Fort Ouroboros cleared its requested escalation.

Did Middenheim call in some Ninjas?
Players are free to do so if they wish, but I'll neither confirm nor deny the specifics of any request. I will, however, mark assigned hexes as Cleared once a requested escalation is finished off so that everyone knows which hexes are safe from sudden escalation launches, and I just did so for both Forgeholm and Middenheim.

Bob, are there any final decisions on what trainers will be included in the new Combat Alchemist structures, particularly the new Large settlement structure.

Haven't had a chance to think about it yet, but I'm planning to start working on them mid-late next week, so I'll post an initial version for us to hash out around then. Fortunately, a bunch of the initial implementation work is pretty design-agnostic, so the details don't need to be completely finalized before I can get started.

Does that mean we can ask for a given escalation once but can ask for an escalation multiple times, as long as the 'one-time' rule is followed?

Each settlement can only make one request for one launch of one escalation.
Bob
From now until the end of the Home Sweet Home Event, each settlement can request a one-time launch of any escalation from today's standard rotation. Your settlement has to be active at the time, and the owner making the request has to be active as well.

The escalation will be launched in your assigned monster hex at an agreed-upon time. There will be no public announcement of which escalation was chosen or when it will launch, so have your forces ready to tackle the escalation as quickly as possible before word spreads that the escalation is available. After the escalation is cleared, that hex will be marked as cleared on the assignment list so other players know there's no more risk of an escalation suddenly launching in that hex.

These are the currently assigned hexes, initially based on the Eternal Youth Sequence:

  • Alderwag 2-3
  • Aragon 2-3-2-3
  • Blackwood Glade 1-2
  • Caer Coedwig 2-3
  • Callambea 4-5
  • Carpe Noctem 5-6
  • Cauchemar 3-3-3
  • Corbenik 5-5
  • Dun Baile 6-6
  • Emerald Lodge 3-4
  • Forgeholm 4-4-4-4-4-4-5 (Cleared)
  • Fort Ouroboros 4-4-4 (Cleared)
  • Golgotha 3-4
  • Hammerfall 1-2
  • Keeper's Pass 1-2
  • Mediash 6-6
  • Middenheim 4-5-5 (Cleared)
  • Oak Knoll 4-5
  • Ozem's Vigil 1-2
  • Phaeros 3-4
  • Staalgard 4-4
  • Talonguard 1-6
  • University Commons 1-1

If you didn't have an assigned hex from the Eternal Youth Sequence, or wish to change hexes, you can switch to an unassigned hex or trade hexes with another amenable settlement.

Update 1: Forgeholm and Middenheim cleared their requested escalations.

Update 2: Fort Ouroboros cleared its requested escalation.

In marking some of the achievements as unable to be earned, I forgot that we count just a couple of the Broken Men (Commanders and Fallen Paladins) as Elite Crusaders, which I believe makes that the one Crusader Slayer achievement that can be earned. Fortunately, it's only an issue with the description text, the achievement still functions normally. I'll get that fixed for the next update.

If anyone else spots any other achievements that I mislabeled, or perhaps failed to label, let me know.

With many school and workplace closures extended through at least the end of May, we've extended the Home Sweet Home Event until Daily Maintenance on Monday, July 6, 2020. Happy More Adventuring!

Yes, we switched to a new Per Character Subscription model when we went to Open Enrollment back in December. Instead of activating your entire account, resulting in 3 active characters but only 1 of them earning XP, you now activate individual characters. That means you can have 1, 2 or 3 characters active and earning XP at once if you'd like, but any inactive characters on the account are in Free Trial Mode (no XP, limited support, etc… ). As part of that change we reduced the base price to $5 per game month, with discounts for buying 6 or 12 game months at a time. We also made it possible to log into all 3 characters on the same account at once.
