did the outage affect characters gain of xp at all?
No, xp is stored and calculated in a way that doesn't get affected by outages.

Apparently the game servers finally came back online by themselves, probably as a result of the automated Daily Maintenance process. We'll look into any additional changes needed to get everything to recover from a power outage more quickly, but ideally this will be the last power outage we need to deal with.

It looks like this was the result of another power outage and will again require a visit to the physical servers in downtown Seattle to get the remaining machines started back up. We'll try to get everything taken care of as quickly as we can tomorrow.

Apologies for the servers and website being down. Just heard from our provider that a "service affecting situation" occurred where our physical servers are colocated and which should now be resolved on their side. The good news is that the website is back up (obviously), but it doesn't look like the game servers are back up yet. Going to see if we can kick them back into gear shortly.

Bob, are the new structures going to be added to game before the unity upgrade or will it be after?
I'm pretty close to finishing off the structures, and hopefully testing them won't take too long, so those should be shipping in an update pretty soon. Cole's still working on getting everything over to the cloud, and I'm going to start writing up a post filling you all in on the progress so far, and the work still remaining. I've mostly been holding off on writing that and posting it until we hit a nice clean milestone, and now we're finally very close to hitting that point. There's still a lot of cloud work remaining though, and we won't be tackling unity until that's all done.

Also do you have any details on the recipes for the new kits (as in what components are needed) and what the new structures will consume in bulk cost for a settlement?
The spreadsheet work like recipes, bulk costs, trainers and the like is my next step, so I should have more to report on those details this week. In general, I'll be trying to align everything with the same design principles that were used for the other structures, so similar ingredients, resource needs and DI costs, with both alchemist and combat structures for inspiration.

Third day's clearly not the charm. We're back up now and making some changes to reduce the chances that things won't start back up automatically each day.
