This thread is for listing out some of the many handy chat commands available in the game. To use them, you can type them into the chat window in this format:

/Command Parameters

On a Windows machine, you can also skip the / by pressing Pause and typing the commands directly into the in-game command prompt in the following format (which also avoids the danger of accidentally forgetting the slash and posting an intended command to General):

Command Parameters

In either case, improperly formatted, misspelled or unrecognized commands will result in an error message displaying in the chat window.

To kick things off, here are two of the handiest chat commands:

  • /Help: This will display a list (in the chat window) of most of the chat commands available to you.
  • /Stuck: This will help you get unstuck if you're trapped somewhere in the game. It will start a 5 minute timer and, if you don't move during those 5 minutes, you'll be teleported to the nearest shrine. It doesn't count as a death, so you'll keep your inventory and your equipped items won't take a durability hit.

Feel free to suggest other sets of chat commands for inclusion here. I'll add them as I can, and I'll occasionally go through and edit/delete any discussion comments so that posts listing commands remain at the top of the thread.

Unfortunately, items in a trade window do get lost when the servers go down, whether due to a crash or for Daily Maintenance. I'll file a bug to see what we can do to make it easier to get those items back, but meanwhile, drop me a line at customer.support@goblinworks.com and we'll see what we can do about this specific loss.

We're doing another quick server-side update this morning to fix an issue blocking access to personal vaults at holdings for anyone outside the owning company (while still allowing access to company vaults) and to fix an issue where Crystal Ogres events were granting an incorrect achievement. It may (or may not) take a little longer than usual before the servers come back up from Daily Maintenance.

There isn't anything like that right now, and it's not on our roadmap, but it's a great idea so I added a feature request to look into it when we have a chance.

For now, the best I can probably tell folks about characters is how long their accounts were active, and based on that we can guess how much total XP any training characters would have. Of course, that wouldn't tell us what feats were already learned, so we'd have to guess at how much might still be available. Not a lot of info there, but anyone who really wants to find that out can just drop me a line at customer.support@goblinworks.com.

For the small number of you who didn't just get the mass email, we've extended the 10% sale on game time through June 27.

Here is an issue that pops a flag for me. If my holding setup is +2 or greater the raiders can pop a donkey on site which is convenient. Maybe too convenient…

I've got a feature request in to see about adding mules to the settlement access settings. Hopefully we'll get to that in time. Still, getting much off the husk will be slow and inconvenient enough to balance that out a bit even if we can't get to it in time.

…but, yeah, if they don't (lazy riders, or maybe they were routed), how long will that husk stick around for?
The husk will stick around for 2 hours, after which everyhing in it just disappears.
Hobson Fiffledown
Will looting the husk be slow, one-item/stack looting like a character's husk, or more like a mule or vault?
It'll be the slow, one-item/stack looting version, so winning the raid is only half the battle.

Fill your core6 with high+ towers or barracks. That is your only land claim. Permafeud the top 3-5 landowners (or whatever

For most (if not all) settlements, adding just 1 more hex at the right location will give you layered defenses as well. Not that I'm encouraging that sort of thing. Not at all. No sirree.

For EE 12, we're adding…

I assume you mean EE 13?

Weird, the OP clearly says EE 13, and I totally didn't just edit that smile

We were trying to provide a good balance between those extremes, but at the very least I think some of the gear doesn't offer enough to change the colors on, and some other gear just has various bugs that mess with the coloration. Unfortunately, that's all serious artist work to fix. We do plan to revisit these issues in the future, but we'll have to ramp up a bit to do so properly.
