We've identified a bug in the Settlement Upkeep system and will be fixing it with a server-side update tomorrow (Friday, 8/5) during Daily Maintenance (9-10 AM Pacific). Deploying this update may result in downtime taking slightly longer than usual, though any added time is usually minimal. As this is a server-side fix, those of you who've already updated your clients to 11.3 won't need to download anything new.

This bug caused one settlement to lose its structures, which I'll be replacing shortly. No other settlements were affected (verified both by checking the logs and the current state of all existing settlements).

And the fix is up and running on Live.

Good news indeed. Will any unspotted existing sales that are bugged stay bugged ?

If so I will probably cancel any existing sales and relist them after the patch just just to pick up any remaining bugged ones.

No need to cancel any existing sales. This will both fix existing problems and prevent future ones.

No problems turned up on the Test Servers over the weekend, so we're going to deploy this fix to Live on Tuesday, August 2 during Daily Maintenance. This is a server-side fix, so those of you who've already downloaded the 11.3 client won't need any additional updates.

I'll get a bug filed for that.

1) Is the height information from the coordinate popups meaure from the bottom of the character box?
Yes.

2) The e/w and n/s coordinates are in 1k meter units with an precision of +/-10 meters. The height coordinate seems to be in 100m units with a precision of +/- 1 meter. Is this correct?
That's correct for the height. The e/w and n/s coordinates were changed back in EE 10 to better line up with the hex coordinates. I'm not sure how that aligns to meters at this point.

3) Where is height 0.00? Or is that something we should hunt for?
I'm not actually sure there's an accessible point at height 0.00. I'll be very interested to hear if anyone finds one.

Everything looked good on our internal testing, so the server-side fix for this is now up on the Test Server. Since the fix is directly related to downtime, we'll be letting it run through the downtimes for Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Assuming all looks good, we'll deploy it to Live on Tuesday, August 2.

Anyone interested in testing around this, log on to the Test Servers anytime before Monday morning and have your characters do a combination of crafting (enough projects to carry them through the next downtime) and/or placing offers/bids at an Auction House. Try cancelling offers, bids and crafting projects. Make sure multi-day crafting projects complete. Buy an item or two right after downtime. Even just placing on offer/bid or two up at the nearest Auction House would be a big help.

And if you need any help getting access to the Test Servers, just send an email to customer.support@goblinworks.com and I'll get you set up.

At long last, we have great news on this front. The logging added to 11.3 allowed us to find the cause of this error and we're readying a fix right now. We'll want to do quite a bit of testing around this on our internal servers and on Zog, so we probably won't be able to deploy it to Live until early next week.

Until that fix goes in, you can avoid this issue by not scheduling any crafting projects that will continue through downtime on a character who is also selling items at an Auction House in the same settlement.

Good point. Feature request filed.

On the Search Companies window, if you search for a string and get some companies listed, left clicking on one of them will provide a members list in the pane to the lower right, but a message is generated to the Chat Window "Insufficient permissions." This message is not generated if the player is in the company clicked on.

The patch note seems to indicate that the member list should display for companies in the same settlement, but that is not the current behavior (it also displays members of companies not in the same settlement, and it displays the "Insufficient permissions." message for companies in the same settlement)

Whoops, didn't mean to imply that members shouldn't be shown for companies that aren't in your settlement. Those lists should be shown for all companies, including ones in your settlement, but there was a bug before that sometimes made the member list display as empty for companies that you shared a settlement with. It would also block the lists in some other cases, but the main one players were noticing was the shared settlement case. We fixed a couple issues there and you should now see the complete lists for all companies.

I believe the "Insufficient permissions" message is coming up because you don't have permissions to edit the information for those companies, so the client is deciding not to show the editing UI. I'll file a bug report to get that removed, since it's really more of an internal coding message. Players didn't actually ask to edit that information, so the message is just confusing.
