These are great incentives for any settlement that can "get it together" for the next cpl and 1/2 weeks. smile

Are these replacements an early start? If wiped out tonight, will those hexes be starting Stage 2 after tomorrow maintenance?

Raids are all even lower than the stuff listed in Stage 1, so clearing those out will get you a Stage 1 escalation tomorrow morning. Putting those in guaranteed that something tougher wouldn't magically appear between then and now, and raids can be cleared pretty quickly.
Hmmm… Okay, thanks for replying.

Edit: I get it now. You are giving us an easier chance to have "empty" hexes at maintenance up as is one qualifier to start the process. My thanks, Sir.

I don't see factions being made ever tbh

The game would have to really take off at an astronomical rate.

I can agree that the work involved would need to call for a much larger player base if such mechanics were to be very complex. What about 3 of the most philosophical divisions in Pathfinder RPG such as Good, Evil and Neutral though?

We have here a rich bountiful game to draw lore from, if not the specific rules, and yet there isn't any "feel" of the type of atmosphere that such a game could engender. Self declared "evil" or "good" just feels like a label that you throw on yourself without any type of distinctiveness or difference in game play at all.

This game has very low flavor, so far, in these types of possibilities.

Magical insurance is a horrible idea in a sandbox. You need gear churn or there is little justification for so many crafters to exist.

To be fair it wouldn't be the first time gear insurance was done in a sandbox. The question is how to balance it so that players don't exploit it and become effectively immune to threading. Not sure if that can be done in this system though.
It should be done via threading. The threading IS the insurance and each character should be allowed a limited amount of "Threading Points" that either can be increased through skills or some other measure. No character should ever be allowed enough to thread every single piece of gear unless they choose many low tier pieces. Or maybe not even then.

But, PVP will never take off and be a PfO feature unless some PVP pro changes are made. Things like a faction system, WITH REWARDS and/or some reasonable LOOT can be obtainable…

There has always been intention for gear insurance, of one kind or another, from the very beginning. Pathfinder Online never intended to be a limitless open world PVP game along the lines of EVE or better example DFUW. Since those early plans, it has become obvious that the plan is to be pretty restricted as to how much a single character can lose in an encounter.

I'm not giving any kind of opinion on that, pro or against. Just speaking what looks pretty obvious to me and has been backed by certain statements from the Devs.

Hmmm… I hope that someday we can make the state: Disrupted more applicable. There are lots of feats that "could" capitalize on it.

Thank you for responding, Bob. It can't be easy to repeatedly have to respond to "Are we there yet?" I am aware that things are moving at best pace according to your RM planned schedule. As I indicated somewhere above, there is just a sense of urgency from the player point of view as well.

I do not want to push that I think it should be easy to gain and maintain high levels of support. Just that I am weaseling for the most possible advanced notice of "the crunchy aspects", rather than "the fluff", which I can get. smile
