A character of mine had Intelligence 30 and Power rank 40. Today, I went bought a rank of Mage (armor feat) from 11 to 12. When I checked to see effect of armor on the character sheet, I noticed my Intelligence was 29 (29.947 to be specific). My rank of Power went from 40 to 39. I logged a bug report online. Someone said that if I buy a int providing feat to get my Intelligence back to 30, the Power rank 40 should be restored. It did not.
I tried changing hexes to see if that changes anything. It did not. So, as it stands, it means I need to re-earn the 62531 xp the Power 40 cost me originally that is now essentially loss when this bug or whatever dropped my Power from 40 to 39. I am NOT HAPPY about that.

Don't do anything. Give them some time to look into it and FIX it instead of fixing it by spending more and more xp that has to be gone back over, removed and then reallocated. <–uneducated advice

Ugh… Tis true that we know little of PfO's server and bandwidth costs, nor how optimized client side operations are compared to server side.

Same. I have gotten more than a fair exchange for my DT accounts already. The real goal here is that PfO stays around long enough and succeeds enough to get better and better.

I will cheer if more could afford to play and do.

Until they allow cosmetics to be equipped that override the look of your gear, I don't know how well this would work. But I'm all for it and would absolutely make use of it.
I am wondering if it could just be customizable color selections, like we have now but more distinctive, more varied and somehow groups could "win" the right to have them (and maybe several shades of) exclusively… or not if that isn't kosher.

Just tie them into the current colors available as options for gear. If not too complicated…

What I would like since this is Tab Target is that the system was somehow more intuitive. Like if I target an ogre and can't attack because another ogre moves his large posterior into my way, a hit on Tab would target that new ogre instead of some other nasty that I also can't attack for some reason.

Having low tier materials useful throughout the crafting trees is a really smart move and is also present in Pathfinder Online. In fact, it is nice that more and more often this is becoming more true for previously less "desirable" or "formerly joked about" materials.

If Porsche had never released a production vehicle, and Ford had stolen Porsche's concept car designs to actually produce retail sales, then I would also suggest that it is "very educational to see how those ideas actually work".
That has a wise ring to it, Sir Midnight. I will have to consider that. I am just concerned that I will never be able to catch up to the Day 1 crowd and forever be behind. smile

Oh, I'm not trying to talk anyone into making it their go-to game (even though it became mine). But a test drive and talking to folks who play it would be good for most of us.

I'd be happy to send you a free trial. It costs me a buck or two worth of gold, so only say yes if you'll actually download it and try it.

As far as catching up, even the priciest gear REQUIRES low tier gathering materials, so all low level gathering time is rewarded. Furthermore, the game allows us to enchant combat gear to be usable by low levels while hitting as hard as higher levels. Those mats are rarer and cost more, but in 12 hours or less of combat grinding you could be competent enough to wear t4+2 gear that is equivalent to the t6 that most vets where. And I can afford to equip you in T4+2.

You can also go to the website, find guilds and ask them about the game on their websites and discord for free.

To be clear, it isn't essential for anyone here, I just think it would be educational, or satisfy one's curiosity to see many of our concepts actually in use by a massive population.

If you can't be bothered, the tldr is… I think many of our ideas got validated, there.

More of a time issue for me than anything else ATM but a generous offer, none-the-less, and probably would be educational. I did take a brake some months ago and tried ESO which I found very charming although, for some reason despite all the bells and whistles, it didn't scratch that itch.

It is seeming reasonable so far as a first try. It gets a little frustrating around objects and when the melee fighters get crowded together but that does seem as things should be in those circumstances. The obnoxious edge cases (like the Nhur Crystals) will get polished, bit by bit and I think it will work out fairly well. smile

Since there are about 10 million colors that we can see, how tough would it be on Paizo to add some certain level of unique colored capes for the various organizational levels in the game? Something for the cash shop even that doesn't cost $100.00?

Edit to Add: I firmly believe that there is a significant… motivation? on many of us hanging around here because we are the "Big Kids" and will be the big kids if it takes off. That does have a real draw and a charm that is not easy to replace. In other words, what some of your concerns are do have validity from the other point of view.
