Well .. I logged off in TK .. I log on this evening and I'm on the far northern edge of the map North of Blackfeather Keep .. it isn't even a complete hex according to the map. And just to make it more interesting, I materialized in the middle of a mob that killed me before the screen finished initializing. I could even hear the attack animations playing as shamans killed me.

I agree that having a specific role that can train this ability is preferable.

Thanks! .. I spent several days in that area and I never found any there at all. I did find buckthorn.

The stuff that qualifies for "green" is listed as either Bag of Itchy Stuff (Goblinoid) or Potent Greenweed. I've never actually found a single Greenweed though I know it exists somewhere in the game. Just seems to be very rare. Itchy stuff can be found but as a drop from mobs is also somewhat rare. I've also had very little luck finding freshwater pearls.

I only have this issue if I've maximized the window (by clicking the maximize icon) on one screen when I exit PFO. As long as I have sized the window by manually setting the size (e.g drag a corner of the game window to the size I want), it opens on one monitor (always the left monitor in my case), regardless of the size I set. If I start a second client, it opens on top of the existing client. My screens are different resolutions, but this only has an effect if I try to place a second client on the second screen, in which case I have to resize that game window, and when I open the game the next, it gets that window size, but back on the first monitor.

I thought that Wilting Surge lost the conditional (on dazed) and also reduced the damage factor as well.

The Formatted data spreadsheet has: Damage Factor: 2.10, and Conditional:Targets Fortitude, Stun (2 Seconds) to All Targets with Dazed, Base Damage +10 to All Targets with Dazed

But the in-game description has: Damage Factor: 1.84 and Effects: Targets Fortitude, Stun (2 Seconds) to All

Also, I no longer get a synergy with Jarring Mesmerism which applies the Dazed condition.

So seems that in addition to reducing Wraith's Cry on the prior patch, this patch also reduced Wilting Surge … No love for Diminishing Staff wielders! smile JK .. the auto-stun effect actually more than compensates for not needing a set-up spell, even with the reduced DF. (or will once stun actually stops attackers from continuing to slide toward me).

Yippee!

Did notice a change in a spell's Damage factors and also effects/conditionals changed as well. I guess devs are still tweaking the balance between roles. Haven't gone through all the attacks yet.

An attacker flag of 30 secs is too short. They will hopefully adjust that AFTER they fix auto target resulting from buffs and heals.

Because they are/were planning a bounty hunter mechanic, I see little reason that an attacker should not be considered hostile to the victim for a period of his choosing. I think that "his Choosing" should not extend past a single payback for every murder. Bounty hunters should have an ability to "assume" this hostility from the victim when they take the contract.

You should not be able to murder randomly (or even for purpose) and dodge retribution within a 5 min time frame. I define murder as killing outside flags, faction, feud, and war.

A bandit robbery situation (without murder) should probably have an avenue for revenge that lasts some long time also. Less than a "murder", but long enough to give the victim a chance.

I agree .. it should be the victim's perspective concerning the attacker that determines when the flag ends wrt to the victim. Otherwise, the attacker can just learn to game the system against the victim as an in-game, sanctioned approach to griefing (yep .. bad word perhaps but we can debate its use here if desired). Also, I would really like to see a way for crafters to deny sales (even in the AH) to individuals that earned the attacker flag against that crafter. I know there would be ways around this but at least it means crafters aren't forced to sale to their attackers directly. There must be a robust way for victim's to respond beyond either having to figure out a way to physically attack back or "learn to live with it".

I have died many many times trying to cast Wraith's cry … it is fairly easy to be interrupted. As pointed out, a wizard in robes is in a very bad spot when surrounded by enemies. And .. using that spell while surrounded by comrades and enemies means you soon might have neither.

Nightdrifter .. THANKS!!!! I did not understand the implications at all.
