As Maxen said, this has happened a time or two before. Downtime has almost always solved it. From my understanding of the issue, it is a problem with the server booting up right during downtime. If it is caught early and it is during a weekday, Cole can reboot that particular server and it usually fixes. Otherwise, Downtime does the trick. With a new patch today, it should be back to normal. If not, let Bob know.

This one kind of happened last minute. I found out we were doing the Humble Bundle and there was a PFO thing in it the day before it started. So I had them add it in and once I verified it was in the Bundle, Bob posted about it on the forums. If I have notice, I will give it to you, but sometimes these things are opportunistic and I take them as they pop up.

I'm having an issue logging a character into the game this afternoon. I was on this morning prior to daily maintenance and had no issues, but this afternoon whenever I click on "Enter World" at the character log-on screen it dumps me back to the account log-on screen with a message that the "The server has dropped your connection; Invalid Operation". I have tried both my main character and my 1K alt character, reverified system files, and rebooted the computer, all without affect.

My guess is that there might be a server issue with the hex those characters are in. Sometimes servers don't come up properly after daily maintenance. I assume all the characters you are having trouble with are in the same hex? It should fix itself during the next daily maintenance, but send Bob a customer service email to customer.support@goblinworks.com so he can check into it.

I thougth so too, but I didn't find anything in my notes, and I going through a second escalation now (for reasons) and still nothing exciting in the salvage department. Some echanting refining and recipies which improves the mood a bit.

(addendum: Finished a second one, no victory markers, no enchantment salvage, so I gues sthey are very weak sauce (naa that is unfair, got several enchatnment recepies))

Yep, they don't drop any salvage or victory markers. Bob didn't want people farming the starter quest for victory markers or enchanting salvage. So clear them out of the way if you are looking for those things.

if you get a gusher in an escalation hex, to the mobs attacking that one count as a part of the escalation for the purpose of Enchanting Salvage related droppings?

Reefer was running a gusher in a hex with Ripping Chains and he was getting salvage drops. I did the same thing the other day running a Silk gusher in a hex with Float Any River. So, I would say yes. There is a caveat. Most the top end escalations (T2/T3) have a phase when the strength reaches "0" where the mobs stop dropping salvage. So if you did a gusher in a hex where it was at the boss and it was one of those high end escalations, then you shouldn't get any salvage drops.

I managed to create a Lesser Forester Fine Ring +2 yesterday. Was purely happenstance as Garric and I were killing Gutgluts and the recipe dropped. Once I learned it, I figured out that the Gutgluts dropped the salvage I need for one ingredient and nearby hex gave me the gathering ingredient I needed. And I already had the crystal needed. Pure luck. smile

Just put up a bid for a Sactified Steel Spear (in Carpe) i think I bought one before, so i hope there is a possibility of one to appear in the future…

I have one up for sale in Thornkeep. I used to sell them in Carpe but because they are +2 T2, decided they were more for new players and moved them to TK. Someday when I am not looking for Enchanting stuff, I am going to start putting T2 +3 stuff in Carpe other than the Blended Iron weapons I already have there. But that is a bit of a longer term project now that UC is a fully functional +5 settlement in all of our buildings.

Before I head off to a day of turkey, wine and friends, I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for sticking with Pathfinder Online, giving us the great feedback on the game that we need to make it the best, playing hard but still being such a friendly and approachable group for new players, helping the team find bugs in the code, and most of all, having a tremendous amount of patience.

On this day when you think about what you are thankful for, I wanted you to know that I am thankful for you guys. Have a great holiday weekend and I hope you are as excited about Enchanting next week as I am!

I assume there will be some shenanigans with the Spellwrigth levels already bought when the Enchantments systems drops? We need to rebuy them with the normal Achievement gating?

Bob can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that bought feats stay bought and won't have to be gated.
