Thanks, when prioritizing things beyond the immediate horizon, please consider dungeons as a high priority. I do think it is something that would widen the appeal of the game and bring in new/more players.

Thanks for the update Lisa. Some of the future changes were interesting but one topic of interest (at least to me and I hope others)was not discussed. For me, this was one of the reasons I started to play and if it is not going to be part of the game I would have to seriously consider letting my subscription lapse.

Initially there was more planned for PVE than escalations. There was going to be dungeons. Are there any plans to add this aspect or is that not part of the current path forward?
A must watch

Well, I only claim one single hex (swamp monster hex) and planted my Freehold there to show that (yes I know there are no in-game mechanics to enforce this claim, but there is in-game pvp smile Anyone who visits without invitation will be attacked. Any escalation myself and other residents of Hammerfall can't clear out in a reasonable time will see invites going out in General Chat for assistance. If you have been snooping around and see something in the swamp that is tasty, feel free to offer help by contacting me on the PFO Discord or Whisper me in game. I am more than willing to party up with most people….but I do not like sneaky trespassers who slink about in the middle of the night smile

(yes, I know my *middle-of-the-night* might be someone else's morning, afternoon or evening…just be polite and ask first…or not. We have what we hold).

Notta also has a freehold in the swamp and is in league with Harnaloot and his alts and defends the claim he has on the hex.
Speaking as an individual, not as a member of a settlement, if the group claiming the hex does not protest the fact that others are working the escalation or acts against said others, then that group, in essence, is surrendering its rights to that claim until such time as it protests the violation of said claim or acts against the violators.

Once protest or action in response to a violation of a claim occurs, what happens next depends on the nature of the group violating said claim. If that group was lawful, I would assume they would recognize the claim; the response of other groups would, I suppose, vary by alignment.

Expecting "server wide consensus" is irrational.
Naysayers and haters, now is the time to man up and do the right thing, self-purge yourselves from the game and the forums. Do I see the path ahead as ideal? No, but I do see it as getting the game onto something more than life support. What is needed now are for those who want to see the game succeed to to start to play again, have some fun, and provide constructive feedback while recognizing the limits of the possible during this new phase. What we do not need are trolls who take perverse pleasure from finding ways to make the game miserable for those who want to play it and chase away newcomers in some twisted power trip based on slaughtering newbies. The best thing that could possibly happen is for you and your ilk to slink away to spread your pestilence throughout other games.

Lisa and Co.,wishing you all the best of luck, I am in for the long haul.

As part of cleaning up the settlement ownership list, we're going to switch from attaching ownership to email addresses and instead attach it to individual characters. Those characters will need to be on active accounts and will need to have leader rank in the settlement's founding company. Settlements will also be able to list multiple owners, alternates for decision-making when owners can't be reached quickly enough, and/or successors. However, only characters from active accounts can be on any of those lists.

I'll be reaching out to the owners of each settlement individually to get that all set up. If I'm unable to contact the official owner of a settlement, I'll transfer ownership to the highest-ranked leader/member when there's an obvious choice, or work with the highest-ranked leadership/membership to pick a new owner when there isn't an obvious choice.
Will there be a cleaning up of Small Holdings that were owned by now banned players?
